Gameplay experience
Resize Stickman is a polished auto-runner with a single verb that never gets boring: grow to smash towering barriers, or shrink to slip under low beams while the stickman sprints forward on his own.
The satisfaction is binary and instant. Wrong size equals a slam stop; right size feels like the level was waiting for you. Coins and skins give the distance chase a drip of collection goals.
I watch the horizon one obstacle early. Swipe decisions made late are already failures—the morph needs a frame of commitment before impact.
Controls
The stickman runs automatically. You only control size. Learn the swipe map on the first track.
- Auto-run: Forward movement is automatic—your job is size timing, not steering every step.
- Shrink: Swipe down to instantly shrink for low obstacles and tight gaps.
- Grow / smash: Swipe up (or the opposite size gesture shown in-game) to grow and break tall barriers.
- Retry: Failed hits reset quickly—treat each crash as a size-timing lesson for that obstacle type.
Game mechanics
Core mechanic: automatic run + size morph. Tall props want big form; low props want small form.
Score and progression come from distance, completed challenge levels, coins, skins, and achievements.
Reading obstacle silhouettes early is the skill—the morph itself is instant once you swipe.
Difficulty
Simple to grasp in ten seconds. Dense obstacle mixes raise the ceiling when tall and low gates alternate quickly.
If you keep clipping, morph earlier. Late swipes look correct but land after collision checks.
Strategy & tips
- Pre-size before the gate: Swipe as soon as you recognize the obstacle shape—not at the moment of impact.
- Default to a safe size: Pick a default form for mixed sections so you only change when the next prop demands it.
- Spend coins on clarity: Prefer skins you can actually see against the track if a cosmetic blends into hazards.
- Learn pairs: Many tracks alternate low → tall. Memorize the pair rhythm instead of reacting one-by-one.

Touch swipes are the natural fit. Portrait can work, but landscape gave us earlier obstacle reads on phones.
Desktop can emulate swipes with mouse drags depending on the build—still tap the embed for focus first.
